Radford Road Canal Ramp Community Launch in Radford Semele (13/09/2025)

This morning, to show our support for local community projects, PCSO King attended the Radford Road Canal Ramp Community Launch in Radford Semele Parish. The ramp was officially opened by Matt Western.

The Canal & River Trust, in partnership with Sustrans, FoRGE (Friends of Radford’s Green Environment) and Radford Semele Parish Council, has created the new ramped access to replace the previous informal access.

The new ramp enables easy access onto the Grand Union Canal towpath, which is part of the National Cycle Network Route 41 between #leamingtonspa and #rugby.

PCSO King's attendance was incorporated into part of a routine foot patrol along the GUC, to engage with those living, working and travelling along the towpath.

As well as discussing issues/incidents that occur along the GUC, narrowboat crime prevention advice was provided.
